Visual Literacy Interactive Workbook

By Summer Haddaway and Chloe Babcock, AD&A Museum Interns

Visual literacy is a very important technique when understanding the physical and symbolic meaning of art. This blog post guides the viewer through the basic steps of understanding visual literacy with artwork found in the AD&A Museum collection.

The interactive workbook was developed by Art, Design & Architecture Museum Interns Summer Haddaway, who interned with Lum Art Magazine, and Chloe Babcock, who interned with the AD&A Museum Registrar, during 2021–22.
