Museum Lessons and Crafts for Kids: Renaissance Frescoes

While some public spaces are reopening, many of us are still looking for ways to entertain and teach our kids at home. The Education Outreach Interns at the Art, Design & Architecture Museum, UCSB, have designed five lessons and crafts that you can share with your aspiring artists and historians at home!

This lesson, taught by Haylee Rosso, is about frescoes, a type of painting used to apply images to walls, used during the Renaissance, a time filled with important artistic production around the world. Haylee will then teach us how we can paint above our heads, like fresco artists did!
