Museum Lessons and Crafts for Kids: Weaving

While some public spaces are reopening, many of us are still looking for ways to entertain and teach our kids at home. The Education Outreach Interns at the Art, Design & Architecture Museum, UCSB, have designed five lessons and crafts that you can share with your aspiring artists and historians at home!

In this lesson, Madison Hester will teach us about the process of weaving, what materials are used, and what can be made. After looking at examples from Latin America, and from the AD&A Museum, you can try paper weaving at home!
